Hofstetter Thomas
Thomas spielte für die Nationalmannschaft Schweiz. Die ersten Länderspiele absolvierte er für die U-17 Auswahl. Danach lief er für die U-19 sowie U-21 Nationalmannschaft auf. 2015 gehörte er zu der Mannschaft, die in Südkorea an den Universiade die Bronze Medaille für die Schweiz gewann. Sein Debüt in der A-Nationalmannschaft gab er am 8. Januar 2010 im Rahmen eines Testspiels gegen Rumänien. Sein letzter Einsatz hatte Thomas am 17. Januar 2016 bei einem WM Qualifikationsspiel gegen Holland.
Seine Karriere als Aktiver begann beim HS Biel. Zwischen 2005 und 2009 absolvierte er 66 Spiele und erzielte dabei 419 Tore. Danach folgte der Wechsel von der NLB in die Swiss Handball League zu HC Kriens-Luzern. Zwischen 2009 und 2011 spielte er 66 Liga Partien und erzielte dabei 246 Tore.
Danach folgte der Wechsel für zwei Jahre zum BSV Bern. Den Schnitt konnte er beibehalten. In 58 Partien Erzielte er 257 Tore.
Seit 2013 spielt Hofstetter wieder für den HC Kriens-Luzern. In seiner Karriere wurde er einmal Vize-Meister und beendete dreimal die Meisterschaft auf dem 3. Rang.
