Tamara Bösch – Erfolgreiche österreichische Handballspielerin und Schweizer MVP

Tamara Bösch, geboren am 5. Juni 1989 in Lustenau, Österreich, war eine erfolgreiche Handballspielerin, die auf der Position des linken Rückraums und als Außenspielerin spielte. Ihre Karriere begann sie beim HC Lustenau, für den sie bis 2008 aktiv war.

Anschließend wechselte sie zum Schweizer Spitzenclub LC Brühl Handball, wo sie von 2008 bis 2016 spielte und große Erfolge feierte. Mit Brühl gewann sie dreimal die Schweizer Meisterschaft (2009, 2011, 2012) und sicherte sich vier Schweizer Cup-Titel (2009, 2010, 2012, 2016). Für ihre konstant starken Leistungen wurde Bösch 2016 als wertvollste Spielerin (MVP) der Schweizer Liga ausgezeichnet.

Nach ihrer erfolgreichen Zeit in der Schweiz wechselte Bösch 2016 nach Deutschland zum HC Leipzig. Nach der Insolvenz des Vereins schloss sie sich dem HC Rödertal an, wo sie bis 2018 aktiv war.

Auch auf internationaler Ebene hinterließ Bösch ihre Spuren: Sie debütierte am 13. Oktober 2006 für die österreichische Nationalmannschaft in einem Spiel gegen Russland und absolvierte insgesamt 50 Länderspiele, in denen sie 60 Tore erzielte.

Aufgrund einer Knorpelverletzung im rechten Knie musste Bösch ihre aktive Laufbahn 2018 beenden. Für ihre Verdienste im Handballsport wurde sie am 27. Mai 2020 in die Swiss Handball Hall of Fame aufgenommen – eine wohlverdiente Anerkennung für eine beeindruckende Karriere.
